Home Remedies for Dizziness



When you get a sensation that everything around you is spinning, you feel weak and on the verge of fainting, the condition is known as dizziness.

Dizziness can be caused by a fall in sugar levels, a sudden drop in blood pressure leading to insufficient supply of blood to the brain, weakness due to anemia, and several other reasons.

The first thing to do when you start experiencing dizziness is sitting down with your head between the legs, to allow blood flow to the brain.

Take 3 amlas, also known as the Indian gooseberry, wash them well, cut and remove the seeds.
Make a coarse paste of them using a pestle and mortar.
Put this is a glass of water.
Add 2 tsp of coriander seeds.
Now leave this overnight.
Strain this the next morning, and drink the liquid.

Take ½ inch piece of ginger and smash it.
Add this to a cup of water and let boil for about 5 minutes.
Strain, add a tsp of honey, and drink warm.

In a glass of water, add ¼ tsp of mustard powder, pepper, salt and vinegar.
Have this daily to enhance blood circulation if you suffer frequent bouts of dizziness.

In a glass of water, add the juice of half a lemon.
Mix in 2 tsp of sugar and stir well.
Drink this every day.

Take 5 fresh and washed basil leaves or tulsi leaves.
Boil these in a cup of milk.
Add 1 tsp of sugar or honey.
Drink this every night to relieve the dizziness episodes.

Drink a well-balanced diet low in carbs, drink plenty of water, and stay healthy.
