A hernia is caused when an organ breaks through the abdominal wall or through a pre-existing gap in a muscle tissue. It’s a very dangerous condition that requires medical assistance as soon as possible.
Until you can get this looked at by a professional, there are some simple and effective home remedies for hernias.
There are many natural alternatives for treating the symptoms of many illnesses or health problems.
Here, we have some home remedies for hernias that will help you a lot.
Clay, Vinegar, and Cabbage:
5 tablespoons of clay dust (100 g),
2 tablespoons of vinegar (30 ml),
1 glass of water (200 ml),
2 or 3 cabbage leaves.
The quantities will depend on the size of the area affected. You can vary them as long as you keep the proportions more or less the same.
Mix the clay, vinegar, and water. You need to use containers made of glass or ceramic, not plastic or metal, as other materials will damage the properties of the clay.
Mix until you get a creamy paste ready to apply. If it’s too liquid, add a little more clay. If, on the other hand, it’s too solid, add some more water.
Only when you’re about to use the remedy, blanch the cabbage leaves. Just leave them in some boiling water for a few seconds
Apply the remedy over the inflamed area. Place the blanched cabbage leaves on top, but be careful not to burn yourself.
Leave it to act for half an hour or until the clay has dried.
You can repeat this two or three times a day until you notice an improvement.
In any case of serious discomfort, you should go straight to a doctor. But, if a hernia is only just beginning to appear, there are some home remedies that you can use to treat them.
