When you start seeing things as blurry objects, it indicates a sign of weak eyesight. Excessive reading, especially in dim light, excessive viewing of TV and the computer screen, are the main causes of weak eyesight. The strain on the eyes results in the eye muscles becoming weak, resulting in impaired eyesight.
Try these home remedies for strengthening your eye muscles and improving your vision.
Take 100 g of almonds, 100 g of fennel seeds or saunf, and 100 g of sugar candy or mishri.
Grind all these together to make a coarse powder, and store in an airtight jar.
Have 2 tsp of this every night with a glass of warm milk, and make sure you do not consume anything after that.
Soak about 8-10 almonds at night.
In the morning, peel the skin and grind to a paste.
Have this along with a glass of warm milk for a few months.
Wash about 6-8 amla, and roughly chop them.
Put in blender, squeeze and stain to extract juice.
Mix with some honey and drink daily.
Include carrots in your diet on a daily basis, either in the raw form or as juice.
Besides the above, follow these simple tips to exercise the eye muscles.
Splash cold water on your eyes every morning.
Rub your palms together till they feel warm, then press them on closed eyes.
Light a candle and observe it, shut your eyes slowly and open them again. Repeat this about 5 times.
